Cinnamon specialises in groupwork and facilitation, strategic planning and organisational development, team leadership and project management, education and training, and sustainability initiatives.

Through higher education and training Cinnamon has developed high-level skills in group facilitation and conflict transformation. She has volunteered with Pt'Chang, a community safety and non-violent peacekeeping group. These skills contribute to her ability to plan community process, manage community relationships and help solve issues. Prior to joining Context Cinnamon held a leadership position in a growing community organisation that provides sustainability programs and services.

Since joining Context part-time in 2004, Cinnamon has provided community engagement services for a number of projects, including Environmental Impact Assessment for the Boral Montrose Quarry Proposed Extension (current), the Melbourne Water Northern Sewerage Project, the Nillumbik Shire Council Edendale Farm Master Plan (2008) and the Nillumbik Shire Council Weed Action Plan (2006). Cinnamon is the current Chair of the Bendigo Mining Environment Review Committee.

Cinnamon has substantial experience in leadership and management positions in community organisations. In addition to working with Context, Cinnamon holds a senior position at CERES Community Environment Park in East Brunswick where she leads several teams, initiates and implements projects, and works collaboratively to manage the whole organisation.

Cinnamon has held the positions of Secretary (3 years) and one of seven Directors (5 years) of Moora Moora Co-Operative Community near Healesville, a role which requires a deep commitment to community living, and ongoing community consultation and facilitation.

Cinnamon believes that building both social and environmental capital is essential for individual, organisational and community wellbeing, and is particularly interested in projects that develop community connectedness and environmental sustainability.
