Jessie has demonstrated skills and experience in historical research and an understanding of conservation practices. She is an excellent communicator who is passionate about heritage conservation and management. Jessie provides essential project support to the whole team at Context, where her role includes research, project support, and data management utilising the HERMES database system.

Jessie is an architectural history and conservation graduate. During her postgraduate degree she focused on Australian, European and Asian architectural history, as well as conservation materials chemistry and preventive conservation.

Prior to joining Context in 2011, Jessie worked with the Heritage Council and Heritage Victoria. As a Hearings Support Officer for the Heritage Council, Jessie developed an understanding of Victorian heritage legislation and policy, and current heritage practises. She also administered record keeping within the Hermes database and provided advice and analysis on heritage matters to committees and parties regarding Heritage Council permit and registration hearings.

Jessie has also worked for heritage advisor Lorraine Huddle of Heritage Intelligence P/L in an administrative support role. She also has experience in website development and management.
