Fran Woodruff, Arbor Vitae Facilitation
Life is full of opportunities! As a facilitator, one of my roles is to assist groups, organisations and communities to see opportunities and to take hold of them and move forward in the most effective way. Whether working with Indigenous peoples in rural, remote and urban settings, working with corporate or government projects and more recently working with local communities engaged in the contentious task of forest management there is a thread that runs through my work. This thread pulls together people from very diverse backgrounds, political and social spheres and assists them to acknowledge their differences and to strengthen their commonalities for the best possible outcome. One of the high points of my career so far is to have been a facilitator at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona in 2004.
My business, Arbor Vitae Facilitation provides an education and facilitation service that assists individuals, groups, organisations and communities transform themselves. I specialise in:
- Improving team performance
- Creating innovative organisational and community cultural change
- Developing self-responsibility and self-facilitation skills in my clients
- Developing leadership skills and qualities
- Assisting organisations and communities to achieve greater clarity of purpose
- Project management services, and
- Strategic support.
I became an associate of Context in 2003 and we have worked together on many innovative community consultation projects.
