A new Conservation Plan for Government House
May and June saw Government House grounds and buildings overrun with heritage consultants as the Trethowan/Context/Nigel Lewis team carried out parallel surveys for an update of the Conservation Management Plan, and an Asset Condition Assessment.
Working with friends and colleagues including Richard Aitken, proved to be a nostalgic experience for some. The extraordinarily tight time frame proved that we could all still do the odd all-nighter when required. The updated CMP and the new Asset Condition Assessment have been shaped into a database to support ongoing recording and heritage management at Government House.
